This evening, our ‘Best Female’ winner in today’s scandipop awards results, September, made her first TV performance (outside of Så Mycket Bättre) in a very very long time.
She performed ‘Me & My Microphone’, the English language version of ‘Mikrofonkåt’, on Skavlan, a Scandinavian talk show broadcast simultaneously in both Sweden and Norway. The last time TV viewers saw her perform this song, multiple million youtube streams, and 8 weeks at number 1 on the Swedish singles chart followed. This evening was of course the first time that the English language version has been performed. So if the original ‘Mikrofonkåt’ clip had that effect in Sweden, is this ‘Me & My Microphone’ clip going to have a similar effect on the rest of the world?!
We hope so. THIS WAS FIERCE!
In other September news, here’s an updated version of the tracklisting of her new album ‘Love CPR’ that we posted at the end of last year. This one has 19 tracks instead of the previous 20, dropping ‘Nobody Knows’. Although perhaps ‘Nobody Knows’ is going to be an iTunes exclusive. We’ll find out soon enough.
