Alina Devecerski: ‘Flytta På Dig’

Mental but brilliant song alert!

A song that as that alert suggests is both mental and brilliant. It’s the sound of a hyper teenager at a rave. On a budget. And in Swedish.

It’s ‘Flytta På Dig’ by Alina Devecerski – a girl that we know absolutely sod all about, other than the fact that she comes from Sundbyberg (the Clapham of Stockholm) in Sweden, and that this is her first single.

However, we expect a lot more from her since she has been signed by EMI Sweden. So ‘Flytta På Dig’ shall be no one-off vanity indie single.

And thank goodness for that!

It sounds terribly like Yelle, the French pop singer who has been exporting quite well and has been a bit of an icon… But I cannot figure out if this song is a cover, or just a rip off of the genre.
