That nice young chap from Denmark, Jesper Nohrstedt, is back with another magnificent club track that’s beyond his fresh years.
‘Glorious’ is the new single, following on from this year’s ‘Take Our Hearts‘. And it’s produced by the same guy behind the latter – Morten Hampenberg. It’s an ambitiously big dance number that has Hampenberg moving into to semi Avicii territory, and taking Jesper along with him for the ride. Jesper rises to the occasion admirably though, and the two of them pull off a great song that’s a thrill to listen to. And there’s a dubstep bit too!
The video is actually a lot like Loreen’s ‘Euphoria’ video from last week. Or in fact, dare we say it, a lot like Loreen’s video SHOULD have been. It’s a very similar concept, but improves on it. Everything bigger and there’s more lights and stuff.
Long may Jesper continue as Hampenberg’s muse. The results so far have been fantastic.
