Today on the Aftonbladet website, Laleh premiered the video to her new single ‘Some Die Young’.
We wrote a little bit about the song, and posted her first live performance of it over the weekend – here. And yesterday she released her brand new album in Sweden, ‘Sjung’, to some gushing reviews. And deservedly so – it’s a thoroughly enjoyable listen. People from outside of Sweden can get it from our online store of course.
The video for ‘Some Die Young’ is something of an explosion of fabric and colour – and so looks more like a commercial for laundry detergent. But a stylish commerical for laundry detergent at that. And one with a great soundtrack!
I’ve not liked anything she’s released since “Live Tomorrow” but this is quite enjoyable.
