Laura Närhi: ‘Tuhlari’

scandipop August 7, 2012 1

Here’s an utterly charming new song that came out in Finland a few weeks back, and has now been released outside of Finland too, should it take your fancy.

It’s ‘Tuhlari’ (Waster) by Laura Närhi. A quirky and up-tempo pop song that ascends in speed and beats until it reaches a massive bells, whistles, children’s choir, and kitchen sink climax! It’s also ridiculously catchy too, thanks to a shamelessy simple “oh-ay-oh, oh-ay-oh, oh-ay-oh” chorus. Resistance to sing along is futile, and a refusal to accept this song as anything other than the enchanting piece of pop that it is, is pointless.

Happy pills;
