The Le Kids are all set to start making some serious waves in Germany. And all this begins with a brand new video for their debut single over there, ‘Mercy Mercy’.
Yes we all know and love the song, and we all know and love the original video too. And we also all know and love the literal interpretation of the original video – that was particularly wow. But let’s put aside our selfish superiority complexes and spare a thought for those 60 million Germans, most of whom have never experienced Le Kid. Actually, we sort of envy them – after all, they have a whole lot of fabulous Le Kid to start discovering now.
And their journey begins here with this new ‘Mercy Mercy’ video, which premiered today. It’s colourful, it’s delightfully camp, and it’s very kitsch. In other words, it’s LE KID. Oh, and ‘Mercy Mercy’ has been given a slight remix too, just to freshen it up a little for 2012.
