Moa Lignell has today released the video for her brand new single ‘Whatever They Do’, via Aftonbladet’s website.
Fans of previous singles ‘When I Held Ya‘ and ‘Live Your Life‘ will be once again pleased, as it’s not a million miles away from either. Mid-tempo and melodic musings from our young dreadlocked heroine on guitar and vocal duties. ‘Whatever They Do’ lyrically reads like a reassuring message to a younger, wide eyed, loved one. We’re not sure if she’s playing the protective bigger sister, the doting parent, or the loving cougar (although given her age, we doubt it’s the latter), but we felt miles better after listening to her wise words. Cheers Moa.
The video makes light of what is possibly our favourite facet of Moa Lignell however – her spectacular hair!
The single has been released (and at least Europe wide, at that) today.

To me it sounds like the words of a caring mother, perhaps one that has to send her young daughter away into the hands of some cruel Idol judges and TV producers.
Could it be a tribute to her own mother? Maybe the album booklet will tell.
In any case another lovely song.
I thought you didn’t like guitars?
