Last night the annual P3 Guld Awards took place at a big ceremony in Gothenburg. The (really quite amazing) stage played host to some great pop performances, from the likes of Scandipop favourites Loreen, Icona Pop, Alina Devecerski, Linnea Henriksson, and Gnucci. And the Loreen performance was particularly of note, as OH MY GOD she finally wore white! Not black (ok, a little bit of black). White. She did ‘In My Head’.

Full list of winners here. Both Loreen and ‘Euphoria’ were unfortunately snubbed in every category they were nominated in. Although ‘Euphoria’ lost out to Icona Pop’s ‘I Love It’ in the Årets Låt (Song) category, so we can’t be too displeased. Årets Artist went to not Loreen, nor Petra Marklund, nor Laleh, and nor Alina Devecerski. Instead it went to Linnea Henriksson – who had earlier that night lost out in the Årets Nykomling (Newcomer) to Norlie & KKV. Erm…..how does that work out then?! Incidentally, Årets Pop went El Perro Del Mar. No we’ve never heard of them either. Oh well – it wouldn’t be the P3 Guld awards without them slightly disappearing up their arse at some point throughout the evening.
