A quick hello and a HOOJ thans to all of you Brits that have been tuning into the scandipop show on Dance Nation TV over the last few weeks.
Ratings have been so good for the showings of the episodes each week, that Dance Nation TV have now extended scandipop’s initial 4 week trial to a full run. And it will now be broadcast up until at least Christmas. It will stay in its regular time slots – every Friday at 10am, every Saturday at 4pm, and every Monday at midnight. The Saturday timeslot in particular has been a ratings winner for the channel – often ranking 2nd out of all 34 UK music television channels during that time. So let’s see if we can make it number 1!
This week’s episode is a big one. We’ve been given the exclusive UK television premiere of the new September video, ‘Party In My Head’. AND on top of this, we’ll also be bringing scandipop favourites Le Kid, to UK TV for the first time. MEGA!
It’ll be on during those timeslots mentioned above, on Dance Nation TV – Sky channel 376.

That’s amazing! Still loving the show every week and it’s great to hear that it’s done so well on the ratings, the mind boggles as to why the likes of Radio 1 and Capital still refuse to play Scandipop. Surely Release Me’s massive UK success in 2009 showed how big it could be with support? At least we can now be thankful that there’s some sort of outlet for it on UK TV, but it would be nice to hear it regularly on the radio and in the clubs here.
