PULS: ‘Ingen Som Du’

Danish pop chaps PULS released a brand new single today – ‘Ingen Som Du’ (No One Like You).

Their fans have already taken it to number 1 on Denmark’s iTunes chart. And quite right too. After a few duff tracks, they’ve finally released something that is up there with our previous favourite of theirs – ‘Lad Det Slå‘. Like that, ‘Ingen Som Du’ is a big and bold dance pop track. It screams summer from the top of its lungs, and then some.  It’s the type of song that if it had a video, it would be set on a beach.

We could probably (most definitely) have done without the rapping parts. No disrespect to the fellow dishing out said rap, it’s just that we’d prefer ‘Ingen Som Du’ to be a 100% sing-a-long affair. But never mind. The fact that such a gripe doesn’t stop this song from being hugely enjoyable, means that it is very good indeed.

“We could probably (most definitely) have done without the rapping parts” <— if the rap parts are removed it wouldn't be called PULS anymore; it would just be "Ingen Som Du" by Micky Skeel. You can't have PULS without their rap.

This comes just in time to rule the season! It’s awesome to see how PULS can go from a very emotional song to a summer hit between singles.

And I don’t know who writes this, but IMO “Hvis du går” wasn’t duff at all.
