Swedish singer Tove Lo FINALLY releases that debut EP of hers next week. ‘Truth Serum’. And it ain’t no miniscule EP either. It’s an 8 track almostalbum!
Already today however, you can listen to her brand new single ‘Not On Drugs’, which got its premiere on Swedish radio station P3 this morning.
The song is typically Tove Lo – or at least typical of the three singles that she’s already released previously. We’d say it’s more ‘Out Of Mind’ than ‘Habits’. A down-tempo affair that lazily comes to life once the chorus arrives. And it’s a pretty phenomenal chorus too. Because that’s Tove Lo’s thing, you see. Typically Tove Lo and all that. The ‘Not On Drugs’ lyric is basically her saying that no – she’s not on drugs, it’s all that amazing love she’s in which is making her so high.
