Today is a momentous day for Swedish pop music. Because for the first time she fell ill in 2012, leaving the public eye after wowing us all with her incredible self titled debut album, Tove Stryke is back with some new music.

Her song ‘Borderline’ (Henning Fürst Remix) has come out as part of the Feminisktiskt Initiativ compilation, released today.

Here’s the website for the project, where you can read more about the organisation, and check out the full tracklisting.

Now, ‘Borderline’. It’s an electro reggae number that sees The Original Tove get a little bit more grown up, a little bit cooler, and a little bit more amazing. More ‘Bad Time For A Good Time’ than ‘White Light Moment’, but it’s a remix lest we forget – so it’s kind of pointless to analyse the sound too much. Basically she’s back, she’s still good, and so we can all sleep a little easier at night now, knowing that the full comeback is not too far away.

We’re sorry, we don’t normally do this (publish a post about a song with only a link to listen to it on Spotify), but it’s A NEW TOVE STYRKE track! So if you live outside Sweden, you may not be able to listen to the stream below. Sorry. But we’ll update the post as soon as a link shows up on YouTube or Soundcloud.

Until then, for some of you, here’s ‘Borderline’;
