StineBramsenEP

Her first EP! Just over a year since the launch of her solo career, former Alphabeat frontwoman Stine Bramsen has now put out her first, self titled, EP. Thanks to the success of her singles, her native Denmark has been lapping up the EP – it’s spent the last two weeks at number 1 on Danish iTunes, and is still sitting pretty there now.
What’s on it? It features ALL this hits – ‘Karma Town’, ‘Prototypical’, ‘The Day You Leave Me’, and ‘Move Forward’. Plus two brand new songs.
What are the two new songs like? ‘Fall Apart’ is an urban flavoured soul jam. And ‘Not What I Came For’ is a stunner of a synth power ballad – far moodier and heart-wrenching than what you’d expect from her. Basically every song on this EP is of a different style and sound, yet all get a big thumbs up from us. She’s a fantastic popstar, is Stine Bramsen. And dare we say – makes up for the fact that Alphabeat are no longer making tunes.
Anyfink else? Since we wrote about her most recent single ‘Karma Town’, she’s also gone and released a video for it. And here that is.
