Top Swedish producer Eric Amarillo yesterday put out a song for the fans, the onlookers, and the casual admirers, while we all wait for the release of his brand new single next week.

It’s ‘Inga Kan Älska Som Vi’ (No One Can Love Like We Can), an all clubbed up cover and interpretation of the Swedish 80’s rock hit by Grace. Here’s the very different original that sounds like a cross between Ultravox and something from the Lost Boys soundtrack.

Eric’s version dresses the song up, trowels on a layer of slap, and drags it onto the dancefloor as his preferred type of clubbing partner. Rock purists can scoff all they will – but we MUCH prefer Eric’s interpretation of the song. And he’s stayed loyal to his love of the original, by incorporating enough 80’s synths in there for it to be a fitting tribute.

Eric’s proper new single ‘Men Hallå! Vem Bryr Sig?’ is released next week. Although we somehow got a head of ourselves and already wrote a review of it back in April. His self titled album from last year, which is really very good, is available from our online store here.
