Magnus Carlsson has got himself a new single out. It’s the theme tune to his summer tour Det blir roligare Tillsammans (a sort of Allsång type affair, with guests Shirley Clamp and Linda Bengtzing), and it’s been composed especially for him by Thomas G:son.
And if all of THAT doesn’t make you combust with sheer camp, then listening to it certainly will.
Much in the same vein as last summer’s masterpiece ‘Glorious’, ‘Tillsammans’ is an up-tempo schlager track with a cracking pop melody and an almighty key change. So no surprises there then. Just continued support to the schlager cause, from one of Sweden’s last remaining stalwarts of the genre. When the schlager revival finally happens, this man had better be (the Swedish equivalent of) knighted for his services during these dark periods. What a guy.
