Linda Pritchard is the contestant we’re most looking forward to seeing in this weekend’s first heat of Melodifestivalen 2010. Partly due to the title of the song (You’re Making Me Hot Hot Hot!), partly because of the songwriters (responsible for two of Linda Bengtzing’s MF entries), and also because of how amazing Linda Pritchard herself looks! We can just tell that the song is going to be the purest of pure pop.
Well now she’s gone and uploaded clips of three songs from her forthcoming album here. We’re very impressed, particularly with ‘Rise Again’. None of the tracks sound particularly poptastic – they’re more pop/rock, and ballads, but they are all pretty catchy. Best compared to Celine Dion crossed with Sanna Nielsen crossed with Kelly Clarkson! Linda has positioned herself firmly as a new popstar that we’re going to be keeping a very close eye on in 2010!
