Swedish producer Michael Casado is at it again. His mash-up game. The last time he turned his hand to splicing two tracks together, we ended up with the phenomenal Tove Lo vs Frankie Goes To Hollywood creation, that we still can’t quite believe even exists – check it out if you’ve yet to. Now he’s taken another global Swedish legendary act – Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and used their ‘Dream Bigger’ hit to form the backdrop of one of our favourite Jason Derulo hits, ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’. That song in itself of course samples Robin S’ 1993 single ‘Show Me Love’ AND incorporates an interpolation of Harry Belafonte’s 1956 single, ‘Day-O (The Banana Boat Song)’. And so needless to say, the final mash-up that Michael Casado has crafted is an ear-splitting masterpiece of creativity.
Check out the mash-up below, synced nicely to a music video. And for more on what Casado’s been up to as a producer recently, check out his current single ‘To The Funk‘.
