What’s this? Following on from her stint at Eurovision for her native Finland, with ‘Monsters’, Saara Aalto is back with the follow-up single – ‘DANCE’.
What’s it like? Well as you would hope and expect from not just a song with that title, but a song that insists on having that title in capital letters and with three exclamation marks, it bangs. Bangs with an eighties flavour and an electro undercurrent.
Written by? Saara herself, along with Linnéa Deb and Matias Keskiruokanen. Produced by The Family.
More from Saara? The ‘Wild Wild Wonderland‘ album remains our fave of the year so far. Other highlights on there are ‘Sirens’, ‘My Touch’, ‘Walking On Nails’, and ‘Dance Like No One’s Watching’. Don’t be put off by the fact that those titles aren’t capitalised and followed by three exclamation marks – they’re still ace.
You can find ‘Dance’ on our Best New Pop playlist.
