What’s this? The new single and video (absolute stunners, both of ’em) from Swedish artist Violet Days. This is ‘Ink’.
What’s it like? She’s always had a magical way with crafting a superb melody, but this is some next-level beauty going on right here. Listen on repeat until either your heart or speakers break, whichever comes first.
What does Violet Days say? “‘Ink’ is about how sometimes you can become blind to toxic relationships. It’s easy to fool yourself into thinking that the hardships and toxicity is normal and that all relationships are like that. It’s so important to respect yourself enough to know that you deserve to be happy and treated with love and respect, and to recognize when that’s not the case in your relationship.”
Written by? Violet Days herself, along with Livvi Franc and longtime collaborator Kris Eriksson.
